REJOICE

Philippians 4:4"Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice! "Rejoice? what is to rejoice? The dictionary explain it as to be very Happy.What Paul is urging the people of Philippians and us the saints today is to be very happy in the Lord always, and again be very happy in the Lord.The bible introduces the concept of happiness as a choice.The people of God can choose to rejoice in the Lord always or to be grumpy and complain. The latter comes easy for every human being and therefore the holy spirit today wants to point out to us why and where we should rejoice in. The bible is clear, rejoice IN the Lord. If we look to be happy any where else, we will definitely be disappointed. Am not sure whether you've realized it or not, but the world and the people in it, is very disappointing. This calls us therefore to shift our source and reason of joy form what is dynamic to what is absolute. Rejoicing in the Lord always reminds us to trust in His faithfulness. The fact that he has not failed means he will not fail and that gives us a ground to build our life on. Hence , we will rejoice in the LORD Always.
